Excellent quality product. I've enjoyed all of the flavoured biltong also, but the original is perfect for everyday snack. Really enjoy that it is a local Welsh product that tastes great.
This, along with lamb fat is the most essential part of my daily diet. I mix a raw egg with coconut flour or almond flour or whey powder and fry in beef dripping, these ingredients absorb the fat very well like a sponge, they can take the high heat, and I still add butter afterwards! I eat this twice a day and not much else!
I have also tried lots of the new beef tallow based skin products which are great, BUT, this beef dripping with a little bit of my favourite essential oils (lavender and rosemary) is what I prefer to use by far the most for face and body. And I discovered this morning, it takes the pain from a kitchen burn from hot fat.
Also, I mix the beef dripping with cocoanut oil for teeth/oral health; 'oil pulling.' I have done this for the last three years, dentist doesn't know I stopped using tooth paste but says 'keep doing whatever you are doing.'
All in all, fantastic product, my larder essential. A big thankyou.
