220g of beef to produce 100g of biltong, red wine vinegar, salt, tomato powder (2.2%), garlic, coriander, black pepper, antioxidant: ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), sodium ascorbate, glucose, basil (0.4%), preservative: potassium sorbate

Made from 100% UKGI (PGI) Welsh Beef. As part of the UKGI Welsh Beef scheme, all animals must be born in Wales and reared extensively on natural grass pastures within Wales. All farms must be compliant to recognised farm assurance standards.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened we recommend that 35g packs are consumed within 72 hours. 250g and 500g packs have a resealable zipper and should be consumed within 7 days of opening. All sliced biltong will have a minimum of 4 months shelf life remaining upon delivery (typically closer to 9 months). The oxygen absorbing sachets in each pack are NOT for consumption.

Unusually good!

I am new to Biltong but desperately trying to increase my protein intake so have been trying a few different biltong recently. I love natural products and always try to buy from small producers if possible, for better products but also to support the producers directly. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from this biltong, I was worried it might taste too much of tomato and basil or possibly a little artificial but thought I'd give it a try anyway and oh my goodness am i glad i did!! This is so tasty and delicious, the hint of tomato and basil just giving it a slightly sweeter, fresher feel. The original is also wonderful but the tomato and basil now a firm favourite. Try it, you wont be disappointed!
